Our Hof ter Heidje is an 18th century square farmhouse in Maarkedal, renovated and provided with all mod cons. An ideal accommodation for families, friends, associations, companies … who want to enjoy the beautiful nature of the Flemish Ardennes or want to explore some culture in the nearby towns.
Accredited as a 5***** holiday home by Tourism Flanders. A guarantee for comfort and safety!
As a guest you get 2 wings at your disposal for a combined total of 400 m² floor space. One wing consists of eight double rooms, each with its own bathroom and sanitary facilities. The other wing is a large multipurpose room with sitting and dining corner, fully fitted kitchen and relaxation area. The two wings are connected by a footbridge.

Ultra-fitted kitchen
5 induction hobs, a grill, 2 ovens and a microwave oven: you can cook without abandon in our kitchen.
The kitchen is also equipped with a dishwasher, 2 fridges, a freezer, a coffee machine, an espresso machine, a kettle, a toaster, a blender and a water dispenser.
You will also find a washing machine, iron, ironing board and drying rack in the storeroom.

Sun-drenched terrace with BBQ
The sun shines all day long on our terrace, which also boasts two large parasols for the hottest moments. So you can chill out and enjoy a snack and a drink.
To make the holiday feeling complete, you can use our BBQ, big enough for a delicious meal with the whole company.

Modern rooms with private bathroom
Every room is equipped with its own bathroom (shower, washbasin and toilet) because we are fully aware how important comfort and privacy are. Common: 2 hairdryers.
The rooms on the ground floor have their own private terrace.
One of our rooms has been rendered fully accessible to persons with disabilities. Cots are available on request.

Fabulous surroundings ideal for cyclists
The Flemish Ardennes are not the setting for the Tour of Flanders for nothing: the sloping fields and undulating landscape are of breathtaking beauty – simply Nirvana for hikers too.
Beautiful Renaix is nearby also, and you can also discover the surroundings in a completely unique way by Vespa or 2CV.

Hof ter Heidje also offers formulas for companies. Book a meeting package (minimum 24 hours) and make use of our meeting room with flip chart and presentation screen.
You can take a break in the mezzanine and relax with a game of darts or table football.

Rates and conditions
The holiday home is rented only in its entirety to one group. The price depends on the size of the group and is determined at the time of booking by choosing the number of rooms (minimum of 6).
The price for a weekend is independent of the number of nights.

Special periods: Easter, Ascension Day, Pentecost, All Saints’ Day, Armistice Day, New Year’s Eve, … are marked as “On Request” and can only be booked by sending an email to info@hofterheidje.be.
Up to two pets are allowed upon request at a surcharge of €20 per night per pet.
Breakfast, lunch and / or dinner can be ordered (prices available upon request).
Use of charging station subject to payment of consumption.
Terms of payment: 30% deposit payable at time of booking / balance payment and €500 security deposit are payable 4 weeks prior to arrival at the latest (Rental and Booking Conditions).
We certainly hope that this does not occur, but if you cancel your reservation, we are obliged to request a cancellation fee:
- More than 120 days before arrival: €50 administrative fee;
- Between 120 and 30 days before arrival: 30% payment of the rental price;
- Less than 30 days before arrival: 100% payment of the rental price.
